The Economic Media and Studies Center- in cooperation with UNICEF- organized Saturday a training workshop via video conference on informational skills and ethics of child journalism rights.
The five-day workshop aims at teaching 20 journalists from provinces of Aden, Hadhramout, Taiz, Lahj, Dhale' and Abyan a number of skills for reaching to journalism considering children rights and expressing their suffering in accordance with principles of good writings.
"The Yemeni journalists are in need to be qualified on ethics of journalist writings on childhood issues," said Executive Director of the center Mohammad Ismael.
For his part, the Communication Officer of UNICEF said that the workshop has especial significance under these exceptional conditions Yemen has been going through for five years, which caused daily suffering to children.
