Italian GDP rises 0.3 percent

The Bank of Italy (the central bank) announced that the country's GDP grew by 0.3 percent in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter, driven by an increase in consumption and investment, in addition to limited American demand.

The bank indicated in its latest economic bulletin, published by the Italian news agency (Ansa Med), that there are positive indicators in the manufacturing sector, despite its continued exposure to international tensions.
