The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Yemen's army repelled a new Houthi attack in central Yemen's Al-Beidha province on Wednesday, the army's spokesman said.

Brig. Abduh Mujalli said the army foiled several incursion attempts by the militants in Qaniya of Al-Beidha and killed a number of militants who fought hard to advance to Qaniya's downtown.

The theocratic militia lost many military equipment in the clashes.

The Iran aligned militia have not stopped incursion attempts against the army's outposts despite a unilateral cessation of offensive operations on the army's part since April 9.
