Al-Maliki: Houthi militia's ballistic rocked intercepted over Najran

The Spokesperson of the Saudi-led Coalition's Joint Forces Colonel Turki al-Maliki has said the Coalition's joint forces intercepted and destroyed Saturday ballistic rocket fired by terrorist Houthi militia from Sa'ada towards Najran for targeting civil targets and civilians.

" Some civilians in Najran city were slightly injured by shells of the ballistic rocket after targeting it," said al-Maliki in a statement published by Saudi News Agency (WAS).

He pointed to continuous targeting attempts by Houthi militia to civilians and civil targets protected by the international and humanitarian law, making it clear that the militia has fired 312 rockets towards Saudi Arabia.

He confirmed that the command of the joint cooperation will take and carry out serious measures to target and destroy Houthi weapon capabilities for protecting civilians against Houthi terrorist operations.
