Al-Kamal: Govt committed to international conventions and commandments about woman

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Ebtehaj al-Kamal stated that the Yemeni Government is committed to carry out all international treaties and regulations about woman, affirming that woman development has been give great deal of attention.
In a statement communicated to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) she said " the Yemeni Government has agreed to the Woman Plan (Security and Peace) which brought forward by the Ministry of Social Affairs. The plan is focusing on prevention of gender based violence, woman protection and improving her economic security and life as well as boosting her engagement in decision making process".
Al-Kamal added" The government's endorsement of the Woman Plan comes with aim of improving woman's situation and implementing the UNSCR's resolution (13250 about the woman (Peace and Security).
The Minister called on the donors to help the Yemeni Government to carry out the Woman Plan
