Charged' Affairs of Republic of Yemen embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria, Ahmed Shamer met Tuesday with the Head of Middle East Department and North Africa in the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry Nicolay Nikolov.
Aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
Shamer touched upon the developments in Yemen, citing violations have been committed by Iran-allied Houthi militia against the Yemeni people. He pointed out to the Iranian regime recent move in which the Iranian handed over the premises of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Teheran to the Houthi militia's representatives; in violations of all conventional diplomatic norms and rules.
The Bulgarian official affirmed his country's support for the legitimate Yemeni government and UN-led efforts to make peace.
