Minister of Fishery Wealth signed Sunday with al-Hikma al-Yamania Charitable Society and Yanabi al-Khair Foundation two agreements on cooperation for supporting fishery sector.
The agreement included cooperation and coordination in defining emergency needs to affected fishermen, mechanism of choosing beneficiaries and defining the places in need and technical specifications of boats, machineries, equipment and importing and distributing 200 boats and maritime dynamos to fishermen in provinces of Mahra, Taiz and Hodeida.
The imported boats and equipment will be financed by Kuwaiti Relief Agency.
Minister Kafayen confirmed significance of partnership between the ministry and al-Hikma al-Yamania Society for improving fishermen's livelihoods under these difficult conditions over Houthi militia's triggered war on the state, expressing pleasure for cooperation in fishery field helping rehabilitating fishery sector and supporting affected fishermen.
He valued efforts of brothers in the State of Kuwait via providing relief and humanitarian support to Yemeni people.
