Minister of Information Muamer al-Iryani called on the US Congress to label Iran-aligned Houthi militia a terrorist organization.

This came as he met on Thursday with Republican member Mike Conway. He said" Iran-allied Houthi militia's actions and attitudes are closely similar to Al-Qaeda's and ISIS's, citing examples for the Houthi militia's atrocities including detonating, destructing public and private-owned properties, recruiting children and threatening regional and international interests, violating woman's rights, killing opponents , repressing minorities.

The Minister touched upon Iran's spoiling policies and support for the Houthi militia in Yemen to employ it as an agent to destabilize Yemen and the entire region to serve the Iranian regime's agenda
