The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

President of Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi sent on Saturday a cable of congratulation to the Japanese emperor Naruhito on his acceding to the throne.
President Hadi's cable reads" It is my pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulation and on behalf of the Republic of Yemen's government, leadership and people on your inauguration. I wish further progress for friendship relations between Yemen and Japan to serve mutual interests of the two friendly countries and people. I also wish the Japanese peoples more prosperity".
