His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, has warned against attempts to undermine recent sovereign decisions, emphasizing they were necessary to restore peace and protect civilians.
Addressing advisors, al-Alimi said the decisions aimed to prevent chaos and protect Yemen's legal status, following deliberate disruptions to transitional processes.
He praised local authorities in eastern provinces for securing state facilities and ensuring services continue.
Al-Alimi urged political factions and media to avoid inflammatory rhetoric, prioritize state language, and enhance national unity. He reaffirmed commitment to addressing southern issues justly and appreciated Saudi Arabia's strategic partnership.
He clarified the decision to end UAE military presence aimed to correct the alliance's course and stop support for groups outside state authority, without affecting bilateral relations.
