The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

Tender Board awards 21 project contracts in Hadhramout

The local Tender Board of Hadhramout has awarded to bidders 21 contracts of projects covering health, education, public works and water in different parts of the province.
The projects, financed from Hadhramout's share of its own oil revenues, also include the restoration of Sayoon historical palace.
The Board warned of legal measures against any contractors who may fail to meet the deadline of project implementation.
