The Governor of Taiz Nabeel Shamsan has stressed the importance of the planned opening of a branch for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in his province.
In a meeting with the advisor of the UNDP's resident representative, Shamsan gave the UN official an account on the humanitarian crisis that Taiz has been suffering for four years as a result of the Houthi blockade around it.
