Medical sources in Gaza Strip said the death toll from the Israeli military offensive on the territory has risen to 72,757, while the number of wounded has reached 172,645 since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023.
According to the sources, hospitals across the Gaza Strip received 13 bodies and 57 injured people over the past 24 hours. One of the fatalities was a person who had previously succumbed to wounds sustained in earlier attacks.
The sources added that since the collapse of the ceasefire on October 11 last year, the number of those killed has climbed to 870, while 2,543 others have been injured.
They also said that 771 bodies were recovered from areas previously inaccessible due to ongoing hostilities.
