CLEVELAND –SABA
President of the Republic Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi urged Yemeni diplomatic missions to further increase efforts to explain the Yemeni cause and the Yemeni peoples' suffering torment as a result of the Houthi militia's coup, war and consequences.
As he received Sunday Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammed Al-Hudrami, in his residence in Cleveland, U.S.A. stressed the important role that Yemeni diplomatic missions should play in explaining the situations in the country and informing the world about the Yemeni peoples' torment due to the Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup d'état.
President Hadi has reiterated his support for all efforts and good offices have been made to put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
However, he stated that any peace efforts must be clearly based on the three well known terms of reference including GCC's Initiative, its operational plan, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216.
He said" The peace that Yemeni peoples are desperately looking forward to establish is a sustainable settlement that can put down the coup and remove everything it has created, restore the state's institutions, maintain Yemen's sovereignty, independence and the unity of its territories, non-intervention in its internal affairs, ensuring security, stability and establishing the federal Yemeni state".
