Prime Minister announces Mahra province disaster area

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr has called the relief organizations working in Yemen to help people of Mahra Province after being hit by Cyclone Luban and damaged people's houses, announcing the province a disaster area must be helped as soon as possible.
In a telephone call with the Governor of Mahra Rajeh ba-Kerait on Monday, bin-Daghr directed raising awareness and state of alert and doubling efforts for salvaging the trapped citizens over the heavy floods and finding safe places to affected people.
He was briefed by Governor ba-Kerait on the climate conditions in the province and damages, confirming that the government will save no effort for helping the people.
