Al-Arada Affirms Importance of Completing Economic Reforms, Enhancing Efficiency of Resource Management

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib Sultan al-Arada met Sunda with the Chairman and members of the Joint Economic Committee from the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance.

He discussed with them mechanisms for implementing the comprehensive economic reform priorities plan and the level of coordination among relevant authorities to carry out the presidential directives in this regard.

The meeting addressed several issues related to the implementation of Presidential Leadership Council Resolution No. (11) of 2025 concerning economic and financial reforms, as well as mechanisms to strengthen state revenues, improve collection efficiency, and develop financial and administrative operations.

These measures aim to support the government’s efforts to address economic challenges and improve the services provided to citizens.

The Presidential Leadership Council member emphasized the importance of moving forward with the implementation of economic and financial reforms and enhancing the efficiency of public resource management in a way that contributes to supporting economic stability and improving institutional performance.

Al-Arada stressed the need to address any shortcomings or imbalances in operations and to adhere to procedures that promote transparency, financial discipline, and the deposit of revenues in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Presidential Leadership Council member directed the local authority in Marib Governorate to provide all necessary support and facilities to the Joint Economic Committee and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the success of the economic reform plan and achieve its objectives in a manner that serves the public interest and strengthens stability and development.
