GCC Aid Coordination Office discusses humanitarian situation in Yemen

The office responsible for coordination of GCC aid to Yemen held its 25th meeting at the headquarters of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Yemen's Deputy Local Administration and chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief Aid Abdusalam Ba Abbood.
The GCC Aid Coordination Officediscussed the developments of the humanitarian situation in Yemen especially in the province of Hodeidah in light of the continued Houthiatrocities there and the marketing of the resulting humanitarian crisis to influence and manipulate the international community and international organizations position. The meeting went over the recent Houthi mass killing of civilians by bombardment of the fish market in the city.
Ba Abboodcondemned the continuation of the coupist Houthi militia in disrupting the work of local and international relief aid organizations, looting the funds allocated for anti-polio vaccination drive and obstructing the drive by various other ways.
The meeting called on the international community to condemn the Houthi attack on humanitarian aid and commercial vessels and the threat of international shipping in the Red Sea.
