Masam Project Removes 3,166 Landmines from Yemeni Territory in February
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre’s project for clearing Yemeni lands of mines (Masam) has succeeded in removing 3,166 landmines from various regions of Yemen during the first week of February 2026.

KSRelief Signs two humanitarian projects to combat cholera in Yemen

RIYADH-SABA
King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) has signed a humanitarian project with the UNICEF to combat cholera and a second project to procure anti-cholera vaccines the World Health Organization and the UNICEF.

The projects were signed by the Consultant at the Royal Court Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, who is also KSrelief's general supervisor, and the UNICEF's Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Geert Cappelaere.

Dr. Al-Rabee'a said, "The two agreements were made upon the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz."

The two deals cost $36 million dollars; finances to combat cholera, rehabilite households' water tanks, provide safe drinking water, provide chlorine as a water disinfectant material, rehabilitee water networks and toilets, dispose of solid waste and afford vaccines for cholera, whooping cough, hepatitis B, diphtheria and other epidemics for 1.140,000 children under the age of five.
