President al-Alimi Calls for International Efforts to Designate Houthi Militia as Terrorist Organization

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi has formally called on UN Secretary-General António Guterres to support international efforts through the Security Council to designate the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, enforce the arms embargo, cut off its funding and weapons supplies, and hold its supporters accountable.

Saudi Arabia Condemns Houthi Attacks on Civilian Targets

RIYADH-SABA

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Houthi attacks on civilian and economic targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran, which injured 73 civilians, including women and children.

The Foreign Ministry also denounced continued Houthi attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and threats to international navigation.

The Kingdom reaffirmed its right to take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty and protect its citizens and national assets, warning against continued attacks on civilians and infrastructure.

Saudi Arabia called on the international community to enforce relevant UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolutions 2216 and 2722.
