Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has underscored the need for empowering the judiciary authority in the government-held regions in order to deliver justice and control crimes.

The Vice President statement came as he met Tuesday with the Chief of Justice Judge Hamood Al-Hitar.

Al- Hitar reported to (Lt Gen) on the efforts have been exerted to activate the role of judiciary in the government-controlled regions.

Al-Hitar also touched upon President Hadi's instructions which put in place including paying the judges' salaries and of the judiciary.
