The Republic of Yemen is participating in the 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, which begins tomorrow and will last for two days.
The session is held in Istanbul, Turkey, under the theme: "The OIC in a Changing World."
The Yemeni delegation is headed by Foreign Minister and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Shaya Zindani, who arrived here Friday.
He was received by Mohammad Ozon, the Head of the Department at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Istanbul Representation.
This participation reflects Yemen's commitment to enhancing its diplomatic presence in international forums and supporting Islamic causes, particularly the Palestinian issue, while also strengthening Islamic cooperation to address political, economic, and humanitarian challenges.
Minister Zindani is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several counterparts from member states to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and the latest developments in regional and international situations.
