Prime Minister, Salem Saleh Bin Braik, has directed government agencies to initiate a field survey for a cash transfer project, implemented by UNICEF and funded by the World Bank.
The program, named Mosanda "Support" , aims to provide unconditional cash transfers to the most vulnerable families in Yemen, targeting 500,000 households.
During a meeting with relevant ministries and agencies, Bin Braik emphasized the need to consider the changing circumstances due to the displacement caused by the Houthi militia's war.
He stressed that the distribution of international aid should be based on needs, population distribution, and changes resulting from displacement.
