The Yemeni Embassy in Beirut has issued a statement regarding a Yemeni citizen detained in Lebanon on charges of collaborating with Israeli intelligence.
The embassy confirms that the individual does not hold any official position or affiliation with the Yemeni government or diplomatic corps.
According to the embassy, the detained citizen has no connection to the Yemeni government's diplomatic or administrative staff and does not occupy any governmental role.
The embassy's interaction with the individual was based on unsubstantiated claims without official documentation.
The embassy assures that it handled the matter according to standard procedures and informed the relevant Lebanese authorities about the individual's actions, in compliance with its legal and diplomatic obligations.
