The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

The Yemeni Parliament delegation headed by the Deputy Speaker Mohammed Ali Ashadadi met on Saturday in Geneva with the Secretary General of the International Parliamentarian Union Martin Shungong.
Latest developments about the humanitarian, economic and social situations in Yemen was a central focus of the conversation between the Yemeni IMPs and Mr Shungon.
Ashadadi briefed the IPU Secretary General on the disastrous humanitarian situations in Yemen as a result of the Iran-baked Houthi militia's coup and practices.
The delegation included Zakaria Azekri, Sadiq Al-Ba'adani, Abdulwahab Ma'udha, Mohammed Thabit Al-Asali, Shawqi Shamsan and Abdulhameed Al-Batra. They flew to Switzerland to participate in the 138 round of the IPI.
