Yemen's Ambassador to France Dr. Riyadh Yaseen said that the Houthi militia's maximalist attitude obstructs peaceful solution in Yemen. In a meeting with the new chairman of the Yemeni-French Friendship Association in France on Wednesday, Yaseen said the Houthiobstruction of peaceful solution has recently become clear to the international community.
He said that versus this Houthi intransigence, the government has a firm interest in securing a just lasting peace that rests on the three relevant terms of reference; the GCC Agreement, the UN Security Council resolutions including resolution no. 2216,and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference.
