Minister of Information Mo'amer Al-Iryani inaugurated Monday Al-Jawf's news website and inspected the local radio station of Al-Jawf's province.
During his visit Al-Iryani met with media men and correspondents of national and international media outlets who operate in Al-Jawf province. His meeting with the media men aimed to know their concerns and challenges they are facing as they do their jobs.
The minister asserted that his ministry has been seeking to boost local radios broadcasting such as Marib and Al-Jawf radio stations so that their airwaves can cover the capital Sana'a.
Al-Iryani underlined the importance of bringing media role up to challenge so as to keep breast with the military advancements made by the troops in different battlefields.
The minister noted that the political leadership and government are very interested in the province of Al-Jawf and they are keen to give it due attention and development projects to make up for the deprivation of the past.
