FM: Arab Project will beat the Persian in Yemen
[15/10/2017 08:26]

ADEN-SABA
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi has confirmed that Arab project will beat Persian project in Yemen. The Persian project depends on sectarianism and intends to bread up Arab unity and replace the armies with militias.

"The International position is united on Yemen and the Yemeni problem is not isolated problem but it is the only one which gained international consensus and in every forum there is international position and defined and united solution reference, all support efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen," al-Mikhlafi told Al Riyadh Newspaper.

He added that the political and military victories achieved by the legitimacy was by the virtue of a strong Arab Coalition supporting the Yemeni government, its leadership and its policy, noting that Saudi Arabia is leading a great support in Arab and International worlds which reveals national, Arab and Islamic soul on Yemeni crisis for facing all challenges led by Iranian project.

He reviewed challenges and problems facing the government, confirming that the government and the coalition are ready to deal with them.
He pointed out that there are parties, which are not happy for this victory and the united Arab position led by Saudi Arabia."Normally, that parties will try to find many ways in bid to undermine the coalition and split it, the last try was in Geneva on human rights topic and we achieved Arab victory against it."

Iran uses every means for supporting the coup (Houthi-Saleh's coup against the state) including trafficking and using areas under the control of the rebels, as well as using none-Iranian people to arrive to Yemen, confirming that reports on this are proved and the report of the Sanction Committee is one of them, he said.

He reaffirmed that the legitimacy and the Coalition are supporting political choice as the military choice was forced on us and for protection but it will remain for pressure for the political solution, clarifying that the victory will be achieved when rebels' illusions of staying in power are broken. As this war is motivated by illusions, we will reach to peace when these illusions are beaten.

Foreign Minister al-Mikhlafi expected that there will be change in the United Nations' position and to rethink and revise its reports and sources.
