Oil Minister informs President Hadi on negotiations with ARAMCO

Minister of Oil and Minerals Saif al-Sharif briefed Saturday President Abdo Rabbu Mansor Hadi on points of negotiations between Yemen's Oil Ministry and Saudi Aramco Company for boosting joint interests and future investments in oil and gas fields.
Minister al-Sharif talked about next steps for re-operating oil sector (S-1) by OMV Austrian Company and on increasing production capacity of Mareb refineries and quick solutions for the purpose.
He noted to the ministry's plan for bringing back foreign investment in oil exploration and production fields.
President Hadi praised efforts of the ministry for re-operating oil sectors as this sector is the significant one in Yemen for generating funds to fulfill the country's commitment and to implement imminent projects to bring conditions in liberated governorates into normal.
President urged the ministry's leadership to quickly implement its plans, especially convincing oil companies to return to the country for resuming activities of oil exploration and production.
He confirmed that these companies will be granted full protection and care.
