The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his accompanying delegation in Al-Safa Palace in the holy city of Makkah, today.
King Salman honored President Hadi and other guests with an Iftar banquet. In the gathering, a brotherly discussion was held embodying the principles of fraternity and solidarity of the Ummah championed by the kingdom and King Salman.
Discussions also covered the issues of common concern to both countries and people on all levels, including the latest developments in Yemen and the promotion of complementary work to withstand all challenges facing Yemen and the region as a whole.
President Hadi said the Kingdom "will be remembered by all Yemenis without exception for its brotherly and heroic stances in Yemen, especially its launched Decisive Storm operation that constituted a turning point in the history of Yemen and the region as a whole."
"Those stances of the Kingdom as a leader of the Arab coalition is not unexpected from it or its faithful and hospitable people. Stances by which the Kingdom set the most wonderful parable of heroic fight in defending the common identity and destiny." Senior princes attended the event.
