The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen supports Antigua and Barbuda to restore membership to IMO

Havana (Saba) – Yemen Ambassador to Havana Mohammed Nasher on Friday met here with Director and Registrar General of the Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping of Antigua and Barbuda Ambassador Dwight Gardiner.
The meeting discussed the support of nominating Antigua and Barbuda to restore its membership to the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Gardiner, who is the representative of Antigua and Barbuda to IMOexpressed his country's desire to receive the support of Yemen's government, indicating that his country has more than 1000 registered ships and receives large and heavy steamers in its ports.
