Aden Meeting Explores Enhanced Cooperation Between Agriculture Ministry, EU and FAO

Officials from Yemen’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries met on Sunday in the interim capital Aden with Program Officer at the European Union Mission to Yemen, Shohra Naqshbandi, and Senior Advisor at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Alemo Mani, to discuss ways to strengthen joint cooperation and improve food security and livelihoods.

The Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Adnan al-Kaf held discussions today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden, with French delegation headed by the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammount.

The talks covered topics relating to the needed structural reforms in the electricity sector and the technical assistance the French side can offer to help the Ministry improve electricity services.
