Yemen reviews Houthi crimes in Germany

Berlin (Saba)- Deputy Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar visited Tuesday European and International Cooperation, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

In his Meeting with the Head of Middle East and North Africa Team Thomas Bringer, Askar reviewed crimes and violations committed by Houthi-Saleh's militias in their held-areas.

Askar expressed Yemeni Human Rights Ministry's interests in the corporation's activities in areas of enhancing justice, democracy, the rule of law and social development.

Askar, who is accompanied by a team from human rights ministry, visited Germany within a tour to some European countries to inform international organizations on human rights' conditions in Yemen under rebels.

For his part, Birringer confirmed that the corporation monitors human rights situation in Yemen and hopes it contributes in enhancing dialogue, noting that all parties should work in accordance with the law.

"Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is ready to support and help Yemen's government represented by Human Rights Ministry via supporting the ministry's programs and activities," he said.
