Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi held talks on Sunday with the non-resident representative of Germany's Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Yemen and the foundation's Regional Coordinator for Renewable Energy and Climate Change in the Middle East, Esther Becker, on expanding cooperation and building a long-term partnership in the areas of environment, climate, and sustainable resource management.

The meeting reviewed the foundation's activities and programs focusing on renewable energy, climate action, and sustainable development, while exploring opportunities for joint initiatives to support Yemen's efforts to adapt to climate change and strengthen environmental resilience.
