The casualty toll from the Israeli occupation’s offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,070 martyrs and 171,738 injured, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
In a statement issued today, the ministry said a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them.
Hospitals across the Gaza Strip received one martyr and 10 injured individuals over the past 48 hours, the statement added.
The ministry further noted that the total number of victims since the ceasefire declared in October last year has climbed to 612 martyrs and 1,640 injured, while 726 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
