The Republic of Yemen took part today in the 49th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
The Yemeni delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for the Youth Sector, Dr. Muneer Lamma’.
During the session, elections were held for the Executive Office of the Council, resulting in the election of Egypt’s Minister of Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, as Chairman. Ministers from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Morocco, Bahrain, Libya, Iraq, Algeria, and Palestine were also elected as members of the office.
