His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

Tariq Saleh confers with Japanese Ambassador over joint cooperation

RIYADH - SABA
The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Tariq Saleh met today, Monday, with the Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen NAKASHIMA Yochi.

The conversations covered Yemeni-Japanese bilateral relations and cooperation, Japanese contribution to the humanitarian and development actions in our country.

Saleh praised Japanese government's stances in support of the Yemeni people and government.

He greatly appreciated the recent measures taken by the Japanese government toward some companies suspected to be involved in supporting the businesses of the terrorist Houthi militias which Tokyo blacklisting them.

The Japanese Ambassador reiterated Tokyo's support for the PLC and the Yemeni government.
Mr. Yochi stated that his country is very interested in supporting the ongoing efforts aiming to establish peace and stability in Yemen.
