Excellent wine practices and global trends in wine tourism will be among the topics on the second day of the 9th UN Tourism Global Conference on Wine Tourism in Plovdiv.

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported that the forum themed "The Art of Wine Tourism", is taking place on October 6 and 7 and offers a dynamic program of themed discussions, expert presentations, master classes and specialized visits.

This edition of the forum highlights the connection between wine tourism and the arts, presenting both as important tools for preserving heritage, fostering creativity, and enhancing the appeal of rural and wine-growing destinations.

By showcasing both established and emerging practices and encouraging cross-sector collaboration, the conference reaffirms the sector’s role as a catalyst for sustainable development, where the art of winemaking and the art of experience come together in one of Europe’s richest cultural wine destinations, the organizers note.
