BERN - SABA
The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mostafa Noaman discussed today, Tuesday, with Swiss Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Monica Kirgouz bilateral relations and the Swiss government humanitarian interventions in Yemen.
They explored the idea of increasing Swiss humanitarian interventions in Yemen to maintain the capacity of local and international organizations to carry out their work.
The two sides agreed to set a date for a visit by officials from the Swiss Foreign Ministry and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation to study the situation and discuss priorities according to government plans.
The talks, which held on the sidelines of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees sessions, touched on the violations and maltreatment by the Iranian-regime backed terrorist Houthi militias against international and local workers in militias-controlled region.
Noaman expressed thanks and gratitude to the Swiss government for its willingness to return the looted artifacts that were recovered by the Swiss authorities, noting that an agreement will be made to sign a document confirming the ownership of the Yemeni government, while keeping them in the museum in Geneva until the appropriate conditions are met to return them to Yemen.
