Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaya Zindani, met with the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen, Zhao Zheng, in Riyadh to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting focused on strengthening friendly relations and expanding cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed several issues of mutual interest and agreed to continue coordination and consultation on matters that serve their common interests.
Dr. Al-Zindani emphasized the Yemeni government's commitment to developing its relations with China, praising China's ongoing support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the government's efforts to achieve peace and stability in the country.
The Chinese diplomat reaffirmed China's interest in deepening its ties with Yemen and continuing to provide humanitarian and development assistance. He also expressed Beijing's readiness to contribute to the recovery and reconstruction process in Yemen.
