Yemen Condemns Escalating Israeli Settler Attacks on Palestinians in West Bank
[14/08/2026 05:19]
ADEN-SABA

The Republic of Yemen has strongly condemned the escalating attacks by Israeli settlers against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, most recently in the town of Qusra in Nablus Governorate, holding the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible for the assaults.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Yemen’s categorical rejection of these crimes and practices, which it said are part of Israel’s ongoing occupation policies and constitute violations of international law and an assault on the rights of the Palestinian people.

Yemen called on the international community to assume its responsibilities by working to halt settler attacks and hold those responsible accountable, ensuring protection for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

It reaffirmed that these rights include the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant international references and resolutions.
