The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Fraja al-Bahsani discussed today, Wednesday, with the Chargé d' Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Yemen Shao Cheng the bilateral relations and ways to further develop them to serve common interests of the two countries.
The talks covered the latest developments in the national and regional arenas, the economic hardships the Yemeni people are experiencing, the joint efforts required to manage challenges in the economic, service and humanitarian fields and the role of the People's Republic of China in contributing toward easing the Yemeni people's suffering at this stage due to the coup of the terrorist Houthi militias.
Al-Bahsani highly praised the supportive stances of Beijing in support of the PLC and the Yemeni government to make peace, re-establish security and stability.
The PLC's Member greatly valued the Chinese government's decisions regarding the exemption of Yemen's exports from customs duties and offering Yemen the chances to participate in international exhibitions.
The Chinese diplomat restated that Beijing is very keen to push the peace process, continue to support to the PLC and the government and provide humanitarian aid and economic support to Yemen.
