The Bulgarian Antarctic Institute announced today that the final group of participants in the 33rd National Antarctic Expedition has returned to Sofia, Bulgaria.
The team arrived in Sofia on a flight from Rome, Italy, marking the near completion of the expedition.

During the expedition, the team successfully completed the construction of a new laboratory building and conducted research on various scientific projects, including international collaborations with scientists from Romania, Montenegro, Abu Dhabi, Greece, Colombia, and Portugal.
