Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak said that the incident of al-Mansoura gas station explosion must serve as is an alarm bell to correct the wrongdoings and put an end of randomly practices which were prevalent over the previous period.

His remark came during a meeting he convened today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Director General of the Yemen Oil and Gas Corporation Mohammad Thabet and the Executive Director General of the Yemen Gas Company Mohsen bin Waheat.

The meeting aimed to carry out decisive measures to address the arbitrarily practices in the actions of gas stations in Aden and the government-held governorates.

'Safety standards and regulations must be a top priority to protect the fellow citizens, Bin Mubarak stressed.

The Prime Minister ordered the Gas Corporation and Company to stop gas supplies to the gas stations that proved to be lawbreakers.
