Ireland calls for review of EU-Israel partnership agreement
[11/08/2024 04:34]
BRUSSELS - SABA
Ireland has called on the European Union to review the existing partnership agreement between it and Israel due to repeated human atrocities in Gaza and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories.

Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris said in a statement that more than 80 percent of Gaza is under evacuation orders, and the number of aid shipments reaching Gaza has halved (less than 80 trucks per day) in June and July.

He added, "Palestinians are seeking shelter in schools that are under attack, and we have all been horrified by the many undoubted war crimes committed in Gaza, and there can be no impunity, and those responsible must be held accountable.
