Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan laid the foundation stone for water and sanitation infrastructure rehabilitations projects in different zones within the city of Taiz at a 1,250,000 funding from the Humanitarian Support Fund.
The director of the Water and Sanitation Corporation branch in the governorate Engineer Samir Abdel Wahed said the projects comprise rehabilitating and operating the Corporation’s pumping station with a 350 kilowatt solar energy system, and operating a Tha'abat pumping station with a capacity of 85 kilowatts, and a solar system to operate the Jamal Street well with a capacity of 48 kilowatts.The projects will be implemented by Solidarity International.
