Lahj governor, UNHCR discuss a mechanism to develop services at Khraz refugees camp

Governor of Lahj governorate Maj. General Ahmed Turki held discussions today,Sunday, with the Head of the UNHCR's Office in Yemen Mohammed Rafiq over the new mechanism set to be carried out by the UNHCR starting from this month February to develop the development and humanitarian services for the refugees of the African Horn countries and hosting community in the area of Khraz in the district of al-Madharibia and Ra'as al-Arah.

The UNHCR is intended to carry out a number of developmental and services projects to improve basic services to the African refugees in Khraz camp and the hosting community in the fields of solar systems energy, education, university scholarships, health and water.
