President al-Alimi participates in opening session of Munich Conference

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, took part today, Friday, in the 59th Conference of Security in the German city of Munich.
The gathering brought together large number of the leaders, heads of governments, foreign and defense ministers, representatives of international organizations and policy-makers from all over the world, except the Iranian regime.
As many as 600 gusts and 1300 journalists are reported to be attending the conference which started in 1963.
President al-ALimi along with his accompanying delegation arrived in Munich yesterday, Thursday, coming from Brussels following his three-day state-visit to Belgium and the headquarters of the European Union .
