The deputy governor of Marib Governorate, Dr. Abd Rabbo Miftah discussed with the representative of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Director of the World Food Program Office in Marib the mechanism for implementing the electronic registration of the displaced people in Marib.
Miftah stressed the importance of electronic registration of the displaced, which enhances credibility and transparency, reflects the real reality, and facilitates tracking their movements.
He stressed the need for organizations to address all problems faced by the displaced, foremost of which is the speed of
transporting food rations to the displaced from some districts of Marib, in preparation for the start of electronic registration.
The meeting reviewed the humanitarian needs of the displaced and the host community and the importance of concerted efforts by all to bridge part of the great humanitarian gap and alleviate the suffering of the displaced in various regions sectors.
