Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, held a meeting with the Supreme Security Committee today, Saturday, with the attendance of Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik.

The meeting was held in accordance with His Excellency's directives, in light of the decisions of the previous meeting, and to review security performance reports in various governorates.

The meeting included the Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari; the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haydan; the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas; the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan; and members of the Supreme Security Committee: the Head of the Military Intelligence and Military Reconnaissance Authority, Major General Ahmed Al-Yafei; the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Major General Shalal Ali Shaye; the Deputy Head of the National Security Service, Major General Mohammed Ayda; the Undersecretary of the National Security Service, Major General Nour Al-Din Al-Yami; and the Rapporteur of the Supreme Security Committee, Major General Abdulhakim Shaif.

The discussions were devoted to continuing to listen to reports about security and military performance, efforts to enhance security and stability in the temporary capital, Aden, and other governorates, and to the achievements made in the fight against terrorism, including the arrest of several cells linked to the Houthi militia and terrorist organizations collaborating with them, and the thwarting of their vandalism plots.
