Removal of 700 landmines, explosive devices and UXOs in July

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's demining arm "MASAM" managed - during the second week of July- to extract 700 landmines planted by the Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen, including 320 anti -tank mines, and 380 unexploded ammunition.

MASAM team managed to remove 54 anti -tank mines and 86 non -explosive ammunition in Aden Governorate, in addition to removing 266 anti -tank mines and 294 non -explosive ammunition in the Marib district. Thus, the number of mines that were removed during the month of July increased by 1.538 mines, bringing the number of mines that were removed since the beginning of MASAM's operation in Yemen to 350,421 landmines planted by the Houthi militia
